A painted maple frame and a finished drawer box are wood products. If they sit in a house with wet drywall and no HVAC, they will move. That is not a mill defect.
Hold the crate in your shop or a climate-controlled unit until the site is at living humidity. We will remake a cabinet we cut wrong. We will not remake a box the jobsite steamed.
